Job description:
We are recruiting for a family run business based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire who supply products and expertise to the UK throughout their specialist area. The company are seeking additional support within their small finance / office team where they work both B2B and B2C.

What to expect:
- £27,000 – £29,000
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (30 mins lunch) (37.5-hour working week)
- Office based role
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day management of sales and purchase ledgers and credit control
- Multi-currency accounting
- Ensure all customer and supplier enquiries are dealt with correctly and efficiently
- Monitor and process goods in and out
- Updating of the cashbook
- Manage stock control processes
- Updating spreadsheets
- Organising post and shipments to be sent via courier
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience of working in an accounts administration role within an office environment
- Sage 50 experience is essential and QuickBooks desirable
- A methodical, organised, and flexible approach to work
- An understanding of the importance to detail and prioritising
- Excellent communication skills and clear telephone manner
- A positive and friendly person who can work well within a busy office
- Experience using Excel (formulas), Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft applications
